Head High is a Sonoma Coast-based winery who came to us with a great product and the desire to connect the overlapping values of surfing and wine making. But to truly inspire, they needed a compelling purpose.
Powerplant worked closely with Head High to develop a brand built around visionary ambassadors and a giving program that donates one dollar for every two bottles of wine sold to social or environmental initiatives. This potent combination of inspirational community and conscientious philanthropy provided the basis for their visual identity, personality, messaging strategy, and web experience.

Conduits for Change

Spreading the Word
Sam Spencer, Head High’s Founder, recognized the annual Surf Industry Manufacturer Awards (SIMA) event as the perfect venue to introduce their new vintage to a select audience. Powerplant produced marketing materials highlighting Head High’s mission and delicious products for maximum visibility.
Growing Community
We provided content strategy, illustration, and copywriting for Head High’s website. Flows were established to drive sales and encourage users to join Head High Explorers, an all-inclusive membership program designed to offer loyal followers discounts on wine purchases and other insider deals.
