Primary Physician Care was a 20-year-old benefit administration company regulating corporate medical expenses through preventative care and fierce cost management. We were challenged to refresh their brand in order to promote a more cohesive internal structure, demonstrate the promise of their increasingly integrated approach to wellness, and establish a bold vision for the future.
Our solution consolidated a diversity of product and service offerings under a single shared purpose to advance workplace wellness, one person at a time.
Creating a Powerful Brand Portfolio
Working with an internal focus group and using periodic reviews, Powerplant led a multi-phase corporate rebranding which included discovery, brand voice and messaging, visual identity, and comprehensive brand architecture development that united three service providers under a single master brand—Healthgram, an innovative leader in the medtech sector redefining wellness through technology, prevention, and transparency.

Healthgram’s color palette was inspired by a shopping cart full of colorful, nourishing produce. These colors help articulate what the brand stands for—health in mind and body, intelligence, and accuracy.

We created the Healthgram logo with bold colors and a fresh twist on the traditional medical cross. Because dialogue is one of the core values of the its brand, the shape of the icon resembles a speech bubble. The four pieces represent patients, doctors, employers, and insurers coming together to affect positive change.

Flagship User Interface Design
To enhance the tremendous potential of their four-portal wellness management software, Powerplant designed a new user interface optimized for mobile. We redesigned the content architecture and removed redundant user paths for a cleaner, more intuitive experience. The brand tenants we established during the previous phase were systematically applied to each portal to reinforce the positive and personable spirit of Healthgram’s new identity.

Our unique perspective on content and design worked brilliantly to help Healthgram’s message stand out in their industry. With a refreshed user interface worthy of national attention, Healthgram’s forward-thinking wellness management software became the flagship of their online presence. A single web portal now allows users to quickly pivot between the company’s varied service offerings.
